ISIS CRICKET CLUB

The club championship is an annual 18-hole competition using Stableford scoring and open to all members and friends of Isis Cricket Club. The Felix Memorial Trophy is an annual inter-club match played between Isis C.C. and Far From the MCC CC, a Ryder Cup-style matchplay event over 18 -holes, with the front 9 a pairs competition and the back-9 an individual competition. The event is so-called in memory of our dear-departed friend Felix Rope, who represented Isisi C.C. on the cricket pitch and the golf course. This competition evolved from the original "Wyder Cup" match, played between Isis C.C. and Wytham C.C. and that original claret jug trophy has been relabelled and is presented to the club champion each year.
